Zavec Brothers, Pet Nat White 2023

Zavec Brothers is a haloze-based natural-wine project in Slovenia’s Štajerska region, celebrated for minimal-intervention practices. They craft vibrant, terroir-driven wines using local and international varieties, spontaneous fermentations, and little to no sulfur or fining. Pet Nat 2023 is made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 30% Riesling and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. A playful, cloudy Pet-Nat offering lively green apple, citrus zest, pear drop and a soft yeasty funk. Dry, juicy, and unfined, its gentle sparkle and bright acidity deliver refreshing energy. Texturally engaging and full of joy, this natural fizz is pure, lively fun.
